Update: we have loved this restaurant for years. Sadly, we went a few weeks ago and tried something new. We didn't care for it at all, which honestly wasn't a problem for us - we don't mind trying something whatever the outcome. However, we asked if we could order something else and if he'd give us a break and only charge half for the item we didn't like. The man absolutely refused. He was adamant that he could not do that. So we paid the full price, left hungry and will never go back. That isn't the kind of service we expect as long time customers. We used to eat there at least weekly, and many times it was several times a week.
We have been to many pho restaurants in charlotte, some outside of charlotte, and even in Hanoi...this is our favorite!
We both love the yellow pancake, and it is made crispy here. :) I love the fresh spring rolls and my boyfriend always gets a quail. We love the pho here ! There is always a good amount of proteins in the bowls (no skimping!) and everything tastes fresh.
The staff is super nice and we always spend some time chatting w whomever is working that day since we have come to know all of the staff.
We eat here at least once a week. It's the go-to for eating out. I generally cook at home, but if we ate out more often, I'd bet we'd be here 3-4 times a week.
You can't really go wrong with any of the menu items, but I recommend the seafood pho and my boyfriend likes the pho tai gao. -

So look, I have in my years had very many Pho's and asian foods from my travels in the US NAVY.
The pho at this place is amazing, I recommend you order the combination Pho in Medium Size. Has everything you want.
I was finishing up my meal and a gentleman sat down and he was Vietnamese had moved here from San Francisco and asked have you been next door at this other Pho place he said no, what he did say is since I moved here to Charlotte I have been to 20 other places and this is my favorite. Mine too if you have a good thing why change?
My only thing that keeps me from a 5 star review is the 90% rating. If a place has been open a while and you get inspected I don't know how many times over a year but you should learn from it and I don't know how any restaurant gets under 95% after a few inspections.
I Like this place after 3 years have had no issues and have taken many friends and they loved it. -

Me and my family planned on going to a pho place very close to this one but walking in we could tell it wasn't for us, so we took a chance on Pho Quynh , and they did not disappoint. Greeted promptly after entering with warm smiles. Food came out fresh and tasty and we did come in closer to closing time then I usually like to do . It wasn't the best pho I've ever had but I can assure you it did satisfy everyone at my table. The place looks very clean as well. I ordered the small pho and it was plenty enough for me. I did eat some fresh spring rolls (made to order) as well. I don't live in Charleston but if I was to go back I could see myself hitting this place up again solely on good food and great customer service.

After an all day/night St Paddy's day bar crawl, I woke up hung over and craving a bowl of pho. I lay in bed a couple more hours recovering and researching where to get the best bowl of pho.
This is the first pho place I've tried in Charlotte so I can't say whether it's the best. It's pretty good/ok but not the best I've ever had, and definitely not as good as my mom's. I ordered a small bowl of pho thai ($7.99). I wanted a Vietnamese iced coffee ($3.99) also but they pre-make it and I prefer when they bring the drip thing out to the table.
The flavor of the broth was ok. There was a good amount of noodles and meat and the vegetables they brought out were very fresh.
The restaurant is clean, there's plenty of parking, the service is good, the food came out pretty quickly, and I saw lots of Vietnamese people coming in to eat as well as picking up to-go orders.
I think I'll try out some other places in the future since I wasn't wowwed here. -

The restaurant itself does not look like much, and I cannot attest for the other dishes here, but if you are looking for a great pho experience, come here! The broth is unbelievable, and I dare say the best out of all of pho places I have been to in Charlotte. Usually I have to tweak the broth with some lime, fish sauce, and hoison sauce, but the broth here is perfect as is -- rich but light, the epitomy of Vietnamese cuisine. The only criticism I have is that I wish they gave a little bit more meat for the large size (it did not seem to be much different than the medium size except for more noodles and broth) as well as include cilantro in the side veggies. Overall, I'd say this place has become one of my go-to places for pho in Charlotte, the other being Pho Hoa.
